Children's Ministry

The mission of Briar Hill's Children’s Ministry is to partner with parents and families to teach kids how to live through Jesus. We desire for children to have a personal relationship with Christ that influences who they are and everything they do. Our goal is that our Love for Christ is poured into the children for them to Reach the World for His Name. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and crafts.

Who's Involved?

Every Sunday and Wednesday Evening we provide a safe environment for kids from K4 - 6th Grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.


Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on kids each week! Every volunteer who leads in the Kids Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.


The Children's Ministry Wing is located on the 1st floor of the Education Building (West). You can access it from the rear parking lot, and from the stairs at the end of the long interior hallway.

How Should I Prepare My Preschool Kids?

Each Sunday, you will need to check your child into our Pre-school Ministry. A form will be filled out by new parents and all parents will be asked to Check-In on the at the booth each time you drop your child off and will be given a pager.  Both formats will include your child’s name as well as information regarding specific allergies. From there you will walk them to their age-specific classroom. When you return at the end of service you will Check-Out your child by signing them out and returning the pager. .

Worship/Discipleship

A blend of Bible Study and Worship, Sunday Nights are geared toward making worship a priority through studying God's word and declaring His goodness through singing, prayer, and scripture memorization.. 

Mission Friends

Mission Friends is a class designated to introduce 3-5 year olds to the importance of the Great Commission. These children are introduced to mission lessons and activities that are foundational to the development of our young children.

GA's

GA's (Girls in Action is a mission class designed to train young girls (1st-6th grades) of the importance of the Great Commission. The girls are introduced to missions and projects that help motivate our young girls how to live out the Great Commission early on in life.

Ra's

RA’s (Royal Ambassadors) is a mission class designed to train young boys (1st-6th grades) of the importance of the Great Commission. The boys are introduced to missions and activities that help motivate our young boys how to live out the Great Commission early on in life.
